Brewarrina Shire Council will kick off Australia Day, with the annual Australia Day Ambassador meet and greet dinner on the evening of the 25th January 2023. This will be held at the Brewarrina Visitor Information Centre from 6pm for Dinner.
Australia Day at Geoff New Oval from 7am onwards with a free breakfast from 8am.
Bring along your family and friends to meet our Australia Day Ambassador Scott Johnson and to congratulate our Australia Day Nominees over dinner and drinks .
AUSTRALIA DAY – 26th January 2023
Come along to Australia Day at Geoff New Oval from 7am on-wards with a free breakfast from 8am.
The official ceremonies will commence at 9am with a Welcome to County, singing of the National Anthem and flag raising. Our Australia Day Ambassador Scott Johnson will then address and present the Australia Day Awards.
Then it’s time for some fun for young and old with the Brewarrina Bash 7-a-side Cricket competition from 10am.
